Arrogance Creates Neglect of the Emotional Intelligence of Kindness, Ethics, and Impeccability

The Lori Loughlin, Mossimo Giannulli, Felicity Huffman, and the participating people of interest in the college admissions scandal has me wondering, “What causes a person to bribe multiple people to force a daughter into college who has no interest to go to college (referring to Olivia Jade’s own admission in her Youtube video)?”

Chronic entitlement, arrogance, stupidity, apathy, and negligence all played a role in Loughlin, Giannulli, Huffman, and many others getting caught by the FBI. I believe the key factor in Varsity Blues playing out is the lack of fear of being caught. It’s an addiction to being Naughty.

Naughtiness feels empowering because you’re breaking the rules without anyone knowing. Naughtiness is avoidance of reality. Naughtiness feels sane in an insane reality that elected a serial liar and predator into the White House.

The desire to break the rules causes a of blindness of inner vision in which you can not see that your own behavior is self destructive. While you view yourself as king of the world or sexiest woman alive, others see you as manic, bipolar, and mentally ill. What is blind to you is obvious to everyone else.

Arrogance is self importance that lacks substance. It’s like sitting in a raft in the middle of the ocean and refusing to activate the emergency radio beacon to initiate a rescue as you believe you can attract attention by your magnetic personality alone. Arrogance is blindness. Arrogance Creates Neglect of the Emotional Intelligence of Kindness, Ethics, and Impeccability.

Why care about kindness, ethics, or impeccability?

As a teenager, I had no fear of death. I still do not fear death. I liked to get as close to wild animals as possible. In this photo, I am standing near a buffalo in Yellowstone Park. It was naughty to get that close because I did not consider the implications of medical costs had I been charged by the buffalo. I did not understand the lack of respect for this animal’s right to roam without disturbance. It was a disregard of boundaries fueled by innocent curiosity.

Rules, such as staying away from wild animals, are wise. They encourage people to live within healthy boundaries. Rules force honesty, such as studying, thinking, and conscious expansion. Where would we be without Galileo, Pythagoras, Aristotle, Socrates, and many others?

It is healthy to care. It is the difference between a society thriving or dying.
