Emotional Intelligence is not the lack of emotions. It is an absolute awareness of the specific emotion affecting you in the moment, the thought that created the emotion, and the decision to create or not create a negative mindset from the experience. It is awareness of your present pain.
Emotional Intelligence is a frequency of experience in which you act with conscious awareness. The conscious awareness can steer you towards resolve or it can direct you towards long term pain by avoiding the origin of the pain.
Emotional Intelligence does not eliminate emotional response. You will feel the emotion. It is an indicator. When Emotional Intelligence is activated, it eliminates long term pain.
